Compile;

- to put together (documents, selections, or other materials) in one book or work.

- to translate from a high-level language into another language, usually machine language, using a compiler.

- to gather together.

Recordings of actions. When you have a focus on what your doing it could heighten the memory of the sight where as the sound of the surrounding fades from you experience.

Attached to your camera, recording the sounds of just the one shot or for a certain amount of time.

Recording the missed sounds when you are listening to your headphones or when the applications on your phone make you absent to the present.
