Saint Louis - Design Academy Eindhoven

Autumn 2014

For this assignment the Design Academy Eindhoven collaborated with Saint Louis, a French crystal manufacturer.

With the assignment we were given a theme ''Nomadic Light'' to work with.

Omnipresent means it is present everywhere.

By interpreting nomadic light literally as a traveling with light, it created an image of walking around with an candle.

The light source is a disk like part that fits on to the vessels. The vessels are place around the house, making the vessel become a docking station for the light source.

Having the vessels as a separate piece makes is not fixate to one purpose, giving the user the ability to play with different possibilities and different function for the vessels.
