Infinity Green Design Factor Contest

The design of the a product made entirely in wood, eco-sustainable an 100% recyclable.

A wooden chair built from a circle

A rounded chair, using only two different diameter rings for all the curved and circular parts. Curved from a wooden profile that is applied in every part of the chair.

Minimising the tooling for parts. The rectangular profile simplifies the cuts, making it easier to extract the parts needed from the raw material.

The form of the profile also needs minimal shaping after the cut. For both cases reducing the amount of material waste.

Constructing the chair from these parts optimises the volume when disassembled. Minimising shipment. The parts also add modularity to the chair.

Giving it the possibility to replace or interchange parts, but also enables to adopt future ideas upon.

Together with the use of coated Pine (FSC) as the material, the chair becomes a sustainable piece of furniture.
